If the government has guts to put forward controversies like quota and nuclear deal, why not Uniform Civil Code? That will be definitely more acceptable to one and all.
It is wrong to think that Hindu Brahmins and forward castes will not welcome it. I am sure that a majority of people in all religions including Islam and Christianity will welcome it wholeheartedly.
