RE:NRIs Love india more than Indians.
by harish on Oct 19, 2007 12:29 PM

the question is not abt love for nation. Many NRI's have done commandable job and are the flag bearers of India.
But, when the same NRI's start acting as a middlemen in pushing the interests of his adapted homeland and their agenda, you only tell me what we indians do. imagine, tmorrow people living in gulf region put pressure on mother india to cut off ties with Isreal and not to have any defence purchases simply bcoz it upsets the establishments of their adapted homeland. is it practical to run a nation as per wishes of NRI's spread across geographies?.
is it feasible? what if people residing in ASEAN region put pressure on their motherland to give away arunachal pradesh, simply bcoz thats what their adapted land wants. can mother india accept such things.
NRI's r acting childish. they r talking as if we have gone to dark ages and nuclear deal is the saviour. common grow up. learn to broker proper deals. be mature and start talking tough. whether u upset ur adapted land is another issue, ur homeland will always be there for u.
