All the bus routes in Delhi to be divided into busy (where passengers are high) and slack (where passengers are less). All busy routes to be allotted exclusively to DTC buses where frequency should be 5-10 minutes. No Blue Line buses to be permitted to ply on these routes. All Blue line buses to be diverted to slack routes where frequency should be 10-15 minutes. No DTC buses should ply on such routes to avoid mad chase of capturing maximum passengers. It is seen that Blue line bus operators never allow DTC bus drivers to run buses ahead of blue line buses to get maximum passengers. Unnecessary stopping on stands should also be checked to avoid over speeding to make up lost time.
