One must be an untter idiot to say that Traffic Situation is better in Mumbai when compared to Delhi.
On every count right from cops disciplining to people keeping in lanes, Delhi is far far ahead. I am a Mumbaite now staying in Delhi. This is when Delhi handles 3 times more traffic as Mumbai.
Who talks of discipline? Even on Main Roads (Dadar Station near Kabootarkhana), where even 2 lane traffic is difficult, cabbies park their vehicles, car wallahs follow them and there is a kilometer long queue everyday. From Prabhadevi to Dadar junction, a distance of 3 kms, it takes 35 minutes on any given week day morning and evening..and please do no blame lack of roads for that. It is just a question of how effectively you are able to put controls.
Same is true for junctions such as Suman Nager in Chembur.
Compare that with Delhi. With so many flyovers, traffic is so much more smooth.
Yes, Delhi has its problems of rash drivers but mumbai bike racing is no less dangerous!
