Can someone explain why the Left is against the deal? My general understanding of the reason Left is agaisnt the deal is bcoz they say we will not be able to test any nuclear weapons and if we do US will impose some kind of penalty. What penalty is not clear, may be US will stop supplying technology to us or some believe US will take back the equipment.
My point is haven't we already tested nukes once or twice in the past? and from what i understand they seem to work fine...do we need to test it like every now and then is it whether our nukes work or not? i have a feeling we don't need to test them anymore, we know they work, we have them and god forbid the time never comes to use them. the end.
So in the end somebody please tell me what the hell is Left's problem!
