Most countries have an army; in Pakistan, the army has a country. As Pakistan%u2019s most dominant institution, the military has long had an inordinate influence in civilian life. It does not matter Kashmir exists or not there will be bad judgments/prejudices as long as military prevails in Pakistan Average citizens in Pak don%u2019t have a level playing field within the country because the military has a lot of privileges. Indians on contrary do not anything about how Pakistanis live in deprivation. The close relationship that large economic houses in Pakistan have had with the military right from the beginning with banks and industrial houses financing military ventures in return for economic concessions.
