People who are determined to go to heaven by killing non-believers, have no time for rational thinking. In Al Quieda's perspective, Pakistan goverment is controlled by non-believers (read Ameriacan slaves) led by Musharaff. Don't worry about Al qaeda helping Paki Army. Al Qaeda wants to eliminate Paki Army and establish Taliban, just as Al Qaeda wants to destroy Saudi Kingdom and establish their own rule.
