Dear BK, >>>>>>unless you truly understand the meaning and the context of each verse from Quran........ so the Quran is prone to mis-intrepretation and the context and meaning thereof can be twisted to suit the circumstances. The Prophet himself changed the verses from time to time to suit his convenience. I think his wife Aisha was well aware of this and on one occassion she had retorted to the Prophet that "The Allah is very eager to fulfil all your wishes"
So every thing has to be interpreted/understood in time and space. The Prophet's teachings were meant for the inhabitants of 7th Century Arabia. The same cannot be applied in toto in 21st century India or even Arabia
