RE:Voting for Communists
by rajesh on Oct 16, 2007 10:51 AM

Kerala an W. Bengal have a peculiar political demography. In Kerala - Hindua, Muslims and Christians are all closer to each other in nos. when it comes to voting. While Keral is supposed to be 100% literate, the people are highly political savvy and wrongly under the spell of Communism. Kerala is generally a poor state (but for the flow of funds by expatriates from Gulf, which goes to NRI deposits, building bungallows and procuring jewellary rather than any worth while economic developments.

In West Bengal : For the past few years, Influx of illegal Bangladeshi Muslims have changed the political climate completely and forever. For them, it was Jyoti Basu and Co which gave a red carpet welcome to illegal migrants who form a large population of a couple of crores in WB. They got Rationa Cards, Voter IDs etc. at lightning spped by the Communist regime and today they are in the dictating position when it comes to bring or changing a party to power. Since Communists brought them to WB, they are voting for Left parties for the time being, but will set their base and challnge the left soon and left will be wiped out of West Bengal..
