RE:Pachauri is not a Nobel Lauret, with due respect. by S on Oct 12, 2007 07:30 PM IPCC has been awarded for their work for over last decades. Pachauri has been heading it for 5 years only. He should not go around taking credit for the work done by thousands of intellectuals and officials. This will have a backlash on Indian officials in the future. The announcement says "Through the scientific reports it has issued over the past two decades, the IPCC has created an ever-broader informed consensus about the connection between human activities and global warming."
