Sailesh is Highly bemused by RTI

Panchkula Afternoon 4.30pm.,Thursday11th Oct. 2007
While the long list of great achievements of ordinary Indians around Mumbai as listed by Sri Sailesh Gandhi ,here ,shall always be a matter of satisfaction to any body interested in seeing humble common Indian to be rescued from being subjected to all kinds of indignities and denials of his or her civil and personal freedoms by usurpers of our state. However, there are large areas in which The mandarins of Security Systems , higher echelons of secretariat , and of course My-Lordships of Judiciary are trying to make access to information as remote and delayed as long as they can ..Usually they can invoke reasons of
State's Security , Official Secrecy Acts and Contempt laws controlling Juridical processes
to be subjected to public exposure and to cover their own misdeeds in the name of State's vital security! So Sailesh Sahib just ask the CS at Bahadurgarh about some case relating to treatment at a public dispensary and you shall know that it would be available for a small cost of Rs. 100,000/- and after several months running around. Non Challant Bureaucrats have ways entirely unfathomable to most good-intentioned pieces of Legislation like RTC.So pl. do not get carried away by a few cases of success of your acquaintances with RTC.
