Agrred there was no contribution of LEFT in freedom struggle. But can u tell me what is the contribution of ur Congress in development of Bengal after socalled independence. We know that Left is less bad for us than Congress. After filling their pockets left leaders will spend the leftover for Bengal whereas leftover will be used by congress leaders for other states. Rajiv for years refused to give permission for Haldia petrochemical though centre did not have to spend any money. Industrialisation in Eastern India was stiffled for many decades due to discriminatory freight equalisation policy of Indian Railways. Even in case of any natural calamity Bengali victims get less compensation. In short we are considered 2nd grade citizens and our lives are considered less important.
