True..but we also have our domestic concerns because of which we may some time in the future want to withdraw the unilateral moratorium on further tests and exercise our sovereign right to test more nukes- say because of China or Pakistan becoming more hostile. In such a scenario, 1. hyde act mandates the US government to withdraw out of this 123 deal. 2. 123 deal mandates India to return all the fissile material already used or stocked up and all the equipment purchased in the past if the deal gets voided. 3. 123 deal also brings India under the purview of IAEA safeguards ad infinitum even if 123 deal were to be totally voided.
