I heard that Rahul Gandhi raped or attempted to rape the daughter of a Congress senior worker in UP who volunteered to work when he visited UP. The case was hushed up. I do not know how true this is but Kapil Sibal and legal power of Congress was leashed against the people who talked about it. Rajiv Gandhi pandered to Muslims by missing to act on the Shah Bano opportunity to rectify the bad practice. He had the court decision overturned. Nehur apart from Kashmir/China fiasco did nothing to introduce common civil code and population control both of which would have bee easy to do right after independence. Now you try doing any of the 2 things, the Muslims will start the riots.
