RE:No reply?

Gandhi started a fast when Netaji defeated his candidate in the Congress election. And as a result Netaji had to resign from the post of Congress President.

Gandhiji was a great leader, led a simple life but he was very adamant and never listened to anyone except Nehru. He had supported the British in the second world war and exhorted Indians to join hands with them. He had expected the British would give freedom in turn. The fact why the British gave the freedom because the running 'The Raj' was eating into the economy of britain. Churchill even had sought the help of Eisenhower, the American president, for running 'The Raj' which he refused. Its very clear that the British had no other option but to let lose India.

After the independence Gandhiji sought to disband the congress which was discarded by Nehru and Patel. And now we are facing the consequences :)))
