It was BJP which was single largest party voted for in the previous election. When none three were there to form the govt., Governor should have asked BJP to rule as it was the largest party. Congress of Karnataka and UPA of centre behind all this drama. If Governor had used some sense, he could have averted President rule and this president is another chess pawn of UPA.
