He is mistaking Poland for USSR It was Polish Catholics backed by the Pope who was also Polish who kicked the communists out of Poland into the Baltic Sea. It was Solidarity which was a Catholic Union led by Lech Walesa (A very Great Man) who kicked Communism out of Poland.
