A state in India is brought under the President's rule only when the party ruling the State is unfriendly to the Party ruling at the Centre. What I am saying may appear absurd.
But this is how our political parties are accustomed to interpreting the Constitution. Two important factors guide our Indian politics. Power and money. I feel this can be changed when every individual realises that it is important to take part in Politics. They should not think politics is something untouchable or bane. Every eligible Indian must vote. Voting should be linked to extending other citizenry benefits like ration card, reservation, concession, etc. With more people participating, our democracy will be broadbased and vibrating.
