Reason is simple,my dear. It is UPA ally. Mulayam Singh was no UPA ally. There were BJP governments in GOA, Jharkhand. Sardar Jootha Singh oh sorry Buta Singh was planted in Bihar to ensure that Laloo rule remain in Bihar, but people of Bihar kicked not only Laloo and Ram Vilas but also Congress.
Karunanidhi not only had insulted every Indian who worship Lord Rama but more than him it is Sardar Manmohan Singh whose holy book is full of reverences of Lord Rama. But, politicians see no religion. Even for young religion like Sikhism, more than their book and gurus, politics is important. Where are the sikhs who claim that they sacrificed their life for a brahmin. What happened to those. Mere propoganda about their religion is their single agenda. They are equal hater of Lord Rama. We can only tell south, if there is no Lord Rama in south, there is no south business in north or hindi heartland.
