yep life is a series of compromises and one has to strike the right balance, but can money be ignored ? it is a huge factor and greater money means more easier life for the next generation. Everything requires lots of money buying a house, educating, marrying etc. Also after a person starts to work his/her outlook changes and it is difficult to get back to pure domesticity unless you have achieved everything in your career which is pretty much impossible.
