Change old ideas, improve -- is the sign of human progress. If critism is not allowed and wiriter like Taslima are banned to stay then process of improvement gets halted. Religion has three dimensions One - related to your mind. You meditate to know spiritual part of god, Second - some religious rules and regulations laid down by religious fundamentalist, Third - political religion which is without any ethics as the name itself says. First mode of any religion will be very common because it is related to Spiritual Part of Human Life. Major disputed area is second mode of religion which need to be improved and here the critics come into picture. Taslima if had written anything is in this second mode of religion. For that matter religions other than Muslim also there are good number of writters who had critised ON RELIGION, their opinions are discussed by the society but not thrown out of country. In India so many muslims are enjoying free life. Addition of Taslima - will help in improving the society. Wonder why CONGRESS is afraid of protecting Taslima? Reason is simple - POLITICAL! There what comes PSEUDOSECULARISM--------!Political religion. Votes of Muslims in India? No matter we should not loose votes. Who wants society to change? That is not our need!
