NID ALUMNUS TAKES ON MODI

"I was taken aback after reading the news item.The news carried on the Indian Express Daily on 18th october of Ahmedabad Edition was also read by me as it was forwarded by none other than Praveen.I know him from his NID days.Infact I have known Dr.Mukul Sinha since !986-87 and happened to work with him in the trade Union front for a short while.

I appreciate their guts, to raise a voice against a unipolar system in the state.Here the theory of yellow peril is practised, not only by a dominant political party, but also by the state machinery. Nevertheless, this was the least expected out of them. So far, whatever they have been doing in there own field was well appreciated by the conscious elements and I believe that was a genuine effort though miniscule in nature. Joining the foray of parliamentary democracy without a clear political objective seems to unfounded. Modi will neither be the end of injustice, communalism, anarchy and authoritarian regime nor was he the beginning of it.

Thus the concept of fighting an individual remains largely undigested. NSM is an over ground organisation without an active and organised underground organisation to carry forward the revolutionary ideology.
