You cannot stop fundamentalism with peace. If one side is fundamentalist it has to be countered by fundamentalism and it will naturally get support from common man. Mind you BJP will never win on RAM and Ayodhya any more.. unless muslim appeasement reaches a high point again. You start overappeasing Muslims on basis of religion Hindu religion will start getting support.
