It is going to be Modi all the way
by Vinal Gandhi on Nov 26, 2007 05:59 PM

There is nothing new in this article. In fact Sheela Bhatt has exhausted all her imagined accusations against Modi and now convince that Modi will win, is trying to project a balanced view. As far as Congress' claims about no hold barred battle this time, well, congress always says that all the time and manages to lose elections in Gujarat. Last time in 2002, they were so assured of victory that they had already conveyed their dear Sonia to prepare for Raj Tilak only to hide their heads in shame after the results. Congress does not have a leader worth any salt to fight against Modi and all the dissidents who are in congress now are going to lose election. Nobody is perfect and nor is Modi. But the guys opposing him are minions and nobody against Modi. As far as Sonia and Rahul are concerned, they may be crowd pullers but not vote catchers. People merely come to see Sonia's Windshield Wipers them but when the time comes for voting, they vote Modi en mass. And all this talk of Modi popular only in urban areas is all hogwash. Modi government has done much more for rural folks and they will not forget that. It is going to be Modi all the way in Gujarat. Even the so called intellectuals and secularists concede this though many of them do not have guts to admit it openly. Lord Meghnad Desai, a known critic of Modi conceded in public that though he does not like Modi and does not approve of his form of governance, he knows that Modi is going to win....
