Need a Prince among thieves
by sujit kaushik on Nov 16, 2007 11:22 AM

Frustration, helplessness & shame is what we experience whenever we hear the word of Karnataka politics. We write articles, maybe even resort to expressing ourselves in public amidst friends and like minded people, but does it have an effect? Mr. DeveGowda, is not bothered about us since we don%u2019t either reflect the vote bank not can we make a dent to it - a bad thought but a reality until this is changed, forever. Being a Kannadiga, i should have felt proud when Mr. DG had stepped into the seat of PM, but sadly even merely being reminded of it that he is the former PM makes me wonder of one quality that he possesses to be worthy of a PM. A PM needs to be a statesman not a third rate. He thrives on unsurity and chaos. He isnt a leader in any way possible. frankly, in Karnataka we dont have options too as leaders, we need a Prince among thieves. Off late being a participant to many seminars i have observed that all the seminars bears a mention of this dirty politics. But can we change? As an ordinary citizen of this state, if you and I are so depressed over this state of affairs, imagine the impact on the business, the investors, job creators and development? I don%u2019t see him changing until his last breath, since his conscience is buried. We better live with him and his band of thugs, forever. We rebel at home, at work place and with people who impact our lives, but here either he isnt impacting our lives or we have allowed him on a long leash. By no means of sanity h
