To Imraan
by Ritu Singh on Nov 16, 2007 03:22 PM

I dont understand if its your ego or plain adamance in refusing to see the truth at what it is...

Imraan try to compare some basic facts.....

With excellent law and order situation and very high industrial productivity, Gujrat is the preferred destination for all types of people from India and abroad.

Gujarat is safe even for "paid anti-Modi agents" like Tahelka to roam around and record doctored statements.

The ratio of Muslims to Hindus killed on account of Godhra incident was 55 to 45, while that of Sikhs vs Hindus killed in Congress fuelled Delhi riots was 80 to 20.

Gujarat is the safest state in india. Can a 18 year old girl can walk / travel on her two wheeler alone at 2'0' clock in the night in the so-called metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune etc..? Come to Gujarat and see females moving around securely every day irrespective of the time.

During Navratri for all the 9 days roads are clogged from 11 o clock in night till 5 o clock in the morning. Females move around alone / with friends on their two wheelers. Nobody dares to touch / eve-ease them.

Gujarat is the only state where liquor is not permitted. Had Modi been interested in satiating just the votebank he would have relaxed the prohibition and everyone knows he CAN do that... But he never did that...

The concept of global Gujarat will only materialise with political will, which Mr. Modi has and that is what is great about that man.

One must seek facts before coming to conclusion.
