US stand on PAK
by Gandhi on Nov 15, 2007 02:23 PM

We know from current news how US stand on PAK today, they have been strategic patners since cold war days. Historiically US been much closer to PAK and even helping PAK to build Army strengths. Those days it was just to keep the Indo-Russia influence in region down and indirectly keeping India in check.
Now US is urging Musharaff to leave to scene and hand over reigns to democratic govt. Now question is with all the opposition is Jail and all his army and jehadi friends contesting elections, how safe would be PAK? How safe would be the Nuclear installations in PAK? How safe are US,rest of the world and India? I have put the India's name in the last, just thinking it would be spared as it is closest to PAK. It was seen in world war 2 that even the adjoining areas which was bombed atomic had lots of ill effects. So a PAK jihadi bombing India is almost axing his own feet. If US leadership know the answers to my question, they are either brillient and they have the situation under control or if they are waiting for time to see- they are leading the world to a disaster.
