This is a racist North Indian speaking.Decrying anything outside the North Indian cow belt is a hallmark of barbaric North Indians who donot see a "human " Bengali inspite of Satyajit Ray , Amartya Sen & Muhammad Yunus.Political turmoil & corruption is a pan Indian phenomenon.Leaving aside a minor spot like Nandigram the overall condition of West Bengal is better than at least half of India , leave aside the ghastly north.Hence donot go overboard with emotion.Also try to have a look at the way Kolkata accross her social spectrum protested against Nandigram carnage.It shows at least a large number of Bengalis are still atrend setter in India--Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaloru will never have a parallel public conscience.
