This is another instance underlining the caste-prejudice and violent nature of "Lord Rama - the avatar of Shiva%u201D. Is this despicable man worthy of even a mention in our history books, let alone be worshipped by millions and millions each day? Wake up, India. Please!

It also preaches "wife burning", a horrid practice where wife is burnt alive in her husband's funeral pyre. People regard daughters as unwanted burden, which acts as a fuel to growing problem of female infanticide, women still have very little decision making capacity and they are expected to conform to the draconian standards set by the elders.
