No choice
by shiva on Nov 13, 2007 05:38 PM

India has no choice. If we open our mouth, we can be accused of fishing in troubled waters. The Pakistani govt will say it is purely an internal matter and for any problems in India, they will start creating problems, not that they are not doing now!

We have enough problems at home for us to poke our nose into our neighbour's affairs. Moreover, the problems are not such that India can solve. We can get only a bloody nose in the bargain. We already have bitter experience in Sri Lanka, a learning experience, not easy to forget!

We may get mired like America and get stuck in the mud. Our neighbours will get together and accuse us of big brother attitude & bullying.
It is just an extension of life experiences, when people increasingly mind their own business.

It is better for OIC (Organisation of Islamic Countries) to get involved in Pakistan. They also cannot help much, as they are, "Oh I See", in effect!

The solutions should come from within as like in Myanmar there are groups within groups, so that the generals are making merry. Pakistan is also ditto. They have to have some other agenda to survive than seeing India as cause for all their problmes.

Please get a life on your own! You are already 60 years old!
