There is no alternative.

I am not a supporter of CPM and am aware of the capabilities of the CPM goons. My father had in the mid nineties tried to open a small factory but had failed and had to move back to M.P. due lot of harrassment. The one time I have voted in WB was for TMC bcoz I found some hope in Mamata. But very soon I lost hope due to her antics. At the same time Budhadev became the CM and sent a lot of positive vibes. He was a moderate, wanted to bring in investment, and wanted to bring back the work culture lost somewhere in the last 30 years, sometimes even going against his party members. There again was some hope of industrialisation and development. BPOs/ITES opened shop.
Here lot of pro-Modi people boast about Modi's accomplishments in bringing in investment. He faced the same opposition from Medha Patkar and her likes.
So when Buddha is trying to do the same for Bengal, why is this opposition. So your support is completely party specific and not issue specific.
What happened in Nandigram is shameful, but it is not an one sided affair as it is made out to be. Whatever we are seeing in the News Channel(Yes, Pronnoy Roy/Rajdeep are showing anti left news)the gun yielding masked men are mostly BUPC/naxalites.

I hope peace prevails and we have an alternative party soon
