Basu might not have done much development for the state, but he had a control over each part of bengal. With him away, thats also gone and what we have is Nandigram. Its such a shame for a CM that the governor has to request 94 old year Basu to intervene to bring back peace. Whatever may be, Basu had respect both in party and also among opposition
