At the time of writing this comment, LeT has claimed responsibility for the Sopore terror attack. India has been portrayed as a 'soft' state which reacts to terrorist strikes. If India has to successfully counter cross-border terrorism, then it should not hesitate to initiate covert operations to liquidate ISI handlers based in Pakistan who are the real masterminds of all such anti-India activities. India must follow policies adopted by Israel who have been by and largely successful in countering jihadi terror.
