Actually most of the "Hindutva" crowd is in Europe or USA. Europe and the USA actually have more freedom of speech than India. I think it is a reaction to western culture that causes people to be strong proponents of Hindutva. Western culture is too dominant and all encompassing. A lot of this Hindutva crowd are people that are afraid that their children will become too western. Creating hatred is one way to control the kids I guess. This is an opinion not a fact. No offense to anybody.
