Ackerman is just speaking on behalf of USA agent Benazeer Bhutto. Ackerman does not care that people were dying in large numbers on daily basis in Pakistan at the hand of terrorists,including 140 killed and over 600 severely injured just on October 18,2007,and there is no end in sight.
The charge that Musharraf imposed Emergency just to keep his job is ludicrous.Musharraf had repeatedly stated that if the decision of Supreme Court on challenges to his nomination for election goes against him, he will not assume presidency,even though such challenges were harassing, untimely and moot and used as a delaying tactic by the opposition,in view of fact that he was already elected by 57 % of the voters.
Did Ackerman know that Musharraf is already elected by 57% of the voters or does he care ?
USA pressured Musharraf to enter reconcilation with Benazeer through an ordinance in order to turn 1.5 Billion dollars of her black money into white which was stolen by Benazeer from Pakistan Treasury in unpaid loans or obtained through kickbacks and money laundering.
