Timing. Motive doesn't matter
by Utkal Mohanty on Nov 07, 2007 06:14 PM

How does it matter why now, and what is their motive? The only point we should bother is about whether the tapes are authentic, and what can we infer from it. And how we should react to th etruth contained in it. WE should note that neither Modi, nor anyone else in BJP, nor journalists like Chandan Mitra have questione the authenticity of the tapes. The most that Chndan could think of is that ' They maybe boasting." Can you imagine what kind of people will boast of burning peole alive, or knifing a pregant woman! They form the high echelons of Bjarang Dal and BJP. And no top BJP leaders have made no comments on this 'boasting'. Perfectly acceptable to venerable Adavaniji and Atalji. We as members of civil society should take note. That's all. The rstis up to our conscience.
