RE:Partition's ghost haunts Pakistan
by Shivkumar Singh on Nov 09, 2007 10:02 PM

Dear Manjula

Brotherhood is possible only with those that are tolerant. Our Hindu faith has as its Axiom - Ekam Sat, Vipro Bahuda Vadanti
(Truth(God) is One, People call the Truth(God) by different names).

Islam says, Laillahillallah, mo-hum-mad ur rasulallah. (There is no god but allah and mo-hum-mad is the only path to reach god). christiansm is not much different except that the route in question is that of jesus.

So while we Hindus are willing to tolerate islamism and christianism, the orthodox followers of islamism and christianism have nothing but contempt for us Hindus and our beliefs.

So what do we do. For answer see my post Sang Parivar - Confused Lot - Too Many Egos - No Clarity of Thought (message 183 in this column)
