I think it was a boon for India that partition occured although unfortunately millions of innocent died in the carnage....But see what Pakistan has become today....Pakistan is a cancer that was removed before it affected the rest of India.....It is ridiculous that in 60 years they couldn't have a proper system of Goverment........India is a modern , progressive and forward looking country that competes with USA and China......Had India stayde United with Pakistan I doubt whether India would have been a stable country
