RE:Hindu-Muslim unity?
by A K Singh on Nov 06, 2007 03:46 PM

You are saying something veru 'High', which has been going overhead, but one thing I can tell you about Hindu-Muslim Unity is; that Hindu-Muslim Unity is a mirage you may go on chasing, but will never be able to get it. Hindus and Muslims were never united, and they can never be united. Anyone who talks about Hindu-Muslim Unity is a politician, and is trying to get votes of both.
A politician of the stature of Gandhi throughout his life kept trying to influence Muslims into accepting his leadership, but he failed, and miserably too.
Can we expect any of today's leaders to succed where Gandhi failed?
Let us accept this fact, that Hindu-Muslim Unity is unachievable. It is like unity between a tiger and a lamb.
