Governor Thakur Should dissolve the Assembly
by konanur s krishnamurthy on Nov 06, 2007 03:17 PM

Within a very short period as Governor of Karnataka, Governor Thakur has earbned the love and respect of the State people who are all fed up with all the MLAs of Karnataka. Unfortunately, under our present Constitution, People have to suffer the looting and amassing of wealth of MLAs for 5 yeaqrs, once they are elected. Is this the essence of democracy? JD(S) twice pulled down the Coalition ministry to serve its own selfish most dishonest interests. The group of MLAs parading in front of the President is an insult to the people of Karnataka and also the President of India. We earnestly hope that the Union cabinet will have the guts to advise vthe President not to revoke the President's rule. Having tasted wonderful and lavish life, the MLAs are all afraid of facing the people aagain. Who cares for their happiness at the cost of thye common man?
