Its one and the same thing. You said LTTE fight for power, the same way SCBose fought for power. If you call SCBose fight was for independence and I would say LTTE also fight for their independence.
You need to go back to 1982, when SL Tamils and SL natives were living together. Then in 1983 SL natives started a riot against SL tamils and thousands and thousand of tamils were killed/massacred. The LTTE was formed to protect the tamilian's right in the country. From then on they kept on figthing unitl you see where it is now.
In this process, they never had anything to do with India, until the IPKF went to SL. Just coz Rajiv was responsible in this and they had to go through intense pain, they killed him.
Now I don't understand, why India had to send the IPKF in the first place. Why should India invlove in the matters that was going on in SL? Infact, if it goes then it should have supported the our tamil brothers sufferring there. The problem is just blindly coz of the congress cabinet headed by rajiv and nothing else.
Logically the native tamils (born and brought up in SL)were fighting for their freedom from native SLs. I don't know why the whole of India is against them. Why does no one say what the SL natives and their army did back in 1983 was wrong? Why do we just blame the LTTE flat and square? They already have the problem of the SL govt and the army.
