AMU to open, but problems remain
by Sheikh Raisuddin on Nov 02, 2007 02:30 PM

The writer of this article who has not identified himself seems to impress the readers that South Indians are not good to manage AMU. Such feeling of division among muslims is the most damaging. As I know AMU student and teaching communities are divided on regional lines (even district-wise). For the first time we have a good VC from south who has vast experience working in academic institution. Althouh I am from north, I know how good South Indian muslims are managing their education system as well as society. Muslims of South are forward looking and education minded. See the example of Kerala. Let the new VC work with peace, at least for 2-3 years.
