Holy cow

"One woman who comes to me needs a child," she continues, "and another woman needs money. A woman is helping a woman. What's wrong?"
This is ridiculous.
This is not outsourcing. They sell services in the process of outsourcing as we know it. Here we are selling wombs, 9 months, pregnancy, feelings that go with having a child and even sacrificing health to some extent. Motherhood at 50$! This is what India has come to.
Did you watch the film Deham or read the novel Harvest? Tomorrow, someone who needs pancreas will meet someone who needs money through some Oprah Winfrey authorised philanthropist and get the services. Man helping man. Sick.
Surrogate motherhood may be a necessity for some couples. They should work to arrange it with other consenting couples. The west should not feel that they can bypass this emotional ordeal at 50$ a month.
We should have a legislation that this 'service' should not be saleable.
