It said castes were craeted by god from his mouth (Brahmins), shoulders(Kshatriyas), thighs(Vaisyas) and feet(Shudras) and asys that mouth is the purest organ. This goes completely against Gita where Lord said that caste depends on person's deeds and qualities. Is this Manu a greater authority than Lord Krishna??? Why Hindus neglect Gita and follow this Manu?
Let alone passing the test of modern Constitutioal values and humanism. This Manusmriti does not even confirm to Gita. Scientists like Oppenheimer, Einstein have gained from it a lot odf inspiration. While we dumped Gita and followed that useless Manu smriti.
