RE:Dera a Fraud
by ganesh on May 25, 2007 12:50 PM

Guru Gobind Singh ji , in a meeting wanted, with sword in his hand, one man's head to be given as sacrifice for the first guru. One person came forward and he was taken to the back of the stage and, guru returned with blood dripping from the sword. This was repeated five times. He did'nt kill them, he was just taking the most sincere and dedicated. They were called 'paanch pyare'. And he asked sikhs to add 'Singh' to their name, which meant 'lion'.
Guru Gobind Singh ji himself became a martyr.

Mocking such historic gallantry on adverse conditions by present day frauds like sauda, enacting 'saath sithare', and asking to add 'Insaan' to his followers names', is nothing but cheap gimmicks.

And till recently Sikhs were the soul and butter of Indian Army. Anything that malign Sikhism should be firmly dealt with.
