True, nuclear recycling reduces fuel wastes, but one of the byproducts of the recycling procedure is Polonium. Till date no ideal method has been found to recycle this. The net result is still sealing off the wastes, albeit a lot less, and burying them in the ground or sinking them in the seas. Who knows what that will lead to in 100-200 or a 1000 years?
