I have lived in Mumbai for the last 45 years or so and seen its blatant and open rape by politicians, policemen, builders and the bureaucracy. Though things have started to change with MMRDA coming up, they still leave a lot to be desired. Chandrashekhar came with a reputation but the land mafia and above entities have softened him up. Maharashtra CM is a helpless politician not enjoying much rapport with HER. I hope we can get a CM like Achuthanandan who loves his state and its people.
