Well said! Religion is indeed problematic. More so are 'religions' such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism. Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Taoism, Confucianism etc are more of a 'lifestyle'. A few fanatics have redefined these 'Lifestyles' into more fundamental practices over centuries and have modified their objectives. So there is no difference between fanatics of each religion, be it the Taliban or VHP/RSS. Once you establish a religion and there are followers, there is a race to get control of that mass following. This is the root cause of the current state of society. On the other hand, the ideal, classless society is a far fetched idea, which will need a huge amount of mind deviation within the public for it to succeed. All in all, religion is THE root cause of all the problems.
