If Sikhs were not carrying swords, then probably you all would be in some dark corners of either Afghanstan or in Saudi with the females in your family doing something else. It was we Sikhs who had saved you all from the Mughals and Afghans over the years. So please don't forget that. Now secondly as to why the protest, the protest is for the reason that this fraud Baba who is facing the rape and murder investigations was deliberately imitating the 10th Guru of Sikhs who sacrifised his whole family to protect the hindus and Sikhs. The Guru Gobind Singh preached equality, he preached that it is not only important to be a "Saint" but it is important to be "Saint-Soldiers". So a fraud imitating a Guru is what has angered Sikhs. Specially if you see that they were the ones who first throwed stones at a peaceful march of Sikhs.
