\"equal opportunities to all\" for what ?, I think equal opportunities for all must be assured by the government in education. whether a child is a dalit, sc , st , obc , muslim or from upper cast, also he/she is from rish or poor. because education of the same quality & standard should be made available to each & every child of India & in every state upto standard 10th. because from their onwards a child has to choose in which stream he want to continue his studies. The parents & teachers can also evaluate from his/her performance based on his higher secondary level education & direct them for future studies or career.
we should not try to give equal opportunities by way of reservation, quotas etc. in jobs or educational institution. However, government must try to reach as many as childrens of the neglected communities sc/st/obc/muslims & children who can not be able to complete their education upto secondary level.
If government guarrantees free quality education to all in the country then the problem of reservations & quota can be sorted out.
